Chesterfield
Container Case Study
A customer in Chesterfield required a workshop container that could create a wide, open workspace on their site. They wanted something durable, weather-tight, and large enough to support daily operations.
Specifications for Workshop Container
The basis of the order included two 40ft high cube containers. The conversions team removed both sides to form an open space measuring 40ft x 16ft. To improve access, they also installed an additional cargo door in the container side. Each container was painted in Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016), giving the finished workshop container a modern and professional appearance.
Two members from the Lion conversions team attended the site to link both containers together. They sealed every joint carefully, ensuring the finished workshop container was watertight and fully ready for use. This practical approach gave the customer peace of mind that the structure could handle tough working conditions.
Although the build was ready ahead of schedule, the customer requested a later delivery date to better suit their schedule. This adjustment was no issue for the Lion team who completed the workshop container project in just six weeks.
The completed workshop container now serves as a spacious 40ft x 16ft workshop. It gives the customer flexibility to set up tools, equipment, and machinery in a clean and organised space.
