Lion Containers offered every branch of Wales Young Farmers’ Clubs the opportunity to compete for a new shipping container to help tackle rural crime in their local area. With votes cast from every single branch in Wales, it was Aberedw that reigned victorious. But which club in Scotland YFC will be next?

Upon delivery, the container was welcomed by Aberedw members, as well as YFC Wales Chair Dewi Davies.

At Lion Containers, we have noticed a steep increase in the demand for secure farm storage, as a result of the unfortunate rise in rural crime.

As a company rooted in the rural area surrounding Aberystwyth, we know first-hand how vital the next generation of farmers are to this country’s agriculture. That is why we wanted to support Wales Young Farmers’ Club by offering a winning branch the opportunity to access super secure storage for free. Now, we want to extend that same offer to Young Farmers’ Clubs in Scotland!

We were astounded by the number of entries to our competition – never did we predict we’d receive thousands of applications. Following such an enthusiastic response, we want to continue this partnership with the Young Farmers’ Clubs, extending to Scotland, giving your clubs the same opportunity to compete for the most secure, wind and watertight storage on the market.
