After some initial discussions where we gathered an understanding of what our client wanted, and assured them that we can build to a completely bespoke specification (taking into consideration their open space requirement), three 20ft containers were agreed upon.
Our client is a leading provider of community equipment, wheelchairs, assistive technology and home improvement agency services in the UK. They contacted us regarding some 20ft containers for storage purposes, and required them to be converted to create a large open space unit.
DAYS IN TOTAL
Before placing the order, our client required a deeper technical understanding into how we would link the containers, what techniques would be used, what material would be used and what tests would be carried out to make this unit watertight and secure. We provided this information straight away, which satisfied our client, and the order was placed.
To create this unit, we removed the 20ft container sides ready for them to be linked on site. We also created some apertures for them, as they required personnel doors but wanted to fit these themselves. All we needed to know was what doors they would be installing, so we could create an aperture to fit accordingly. The container was painted grey and the entire conversion took just 4 weeks.
The containers were delivered to site, and our fabrications team linked them there and then. Our client was extremely happy with the workmanship, our technical expertise and how the final build looks on their site.
