Shipping Container Hotels

It has getting more and more popular for people to buy shipping containers for hotel, cabin or B&B accommodation. They are in many ways ideal building material; they are made to carry big and heavy loads and to be stacked on top of one another, and they are extremely strong. It is also extremely easy to put your own design on them, this is why they are so ideal to use as living spaces. The versatility of these metal boxes enables them to be applicable for a wide range of uses, and with the various container accessories that we offer, it is so easy to convert them into a bespoke piece of architecture.

Uxbridge Travelodge
Travelodge recently opened a hotel in Uxbridge, England that is constructed entirely from prefabricated shipping containers. The completed design uses eighty-six containers of various sizes that were retrofitted into bedrooms and bolted together onsite. The exterior has been clad and fitted with windows, thus converting the assemblage into a seamless 120-bedroom hotel. Verbus Systems estimates that the structure€™s prefab composition saved the hotel chain more than half a million pounds and at least 10 weeks of construction. Visit the Travelodge Website >>

Delivering Your Container

We have a small team of trusted hauliers working for us here in the UK. Deliveries normally take place between 7am-8pm, Monday to Friday, however we can work outside of these times if so wished. We also provide site visits to those more tricky delivery areas, all members of our team have passed their CSCS card test. This means that they are able to visit sites in order to reduce accidents and drive up on-site efficiency. Should you require your container for shipping purposes, we can provide you with a CSC Verification Certificate, our professionals will test and certify your new or used 40ft container to ensure it is structurally sound and safe to ship your cargo by vessel.
